Job Description
You will serve as a LEAD POLICE OFFICER in the OPERATIONS (N3) AND FORCE PROTECTION (N34) of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP BLAZ. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 11.88% will be added to the stated salary.
**Qualifications:**
In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Therefore, we encourage you to be clear and specific when describing your experience. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing advanced aspects of law enforcement, antiterrorism, and physical security functions, requiring use and deployment of specialized techniques, equipment, knowledge, or training; 2) Applying knowledge of law enforcement, antiterrorism and physical security guidelines, rules, regulations, procedures, and legal authorities in response to command direction or terrorist threats; 3) Employing techniques and procedures used to collect, protect, and process evidence from a crime scene including maintaining chain of custody for evidentiary purposes; and 4) Responding to high risk and potentially deadly active shooter situations with specialized tactics, techniques, and procedures. NOTE: This information must be supported in your resume to be considered for the position. You must also complete annual sustainment training, Level 1 Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) contamination training, and OC refresher training.
