Job Description
You will serve as a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (SHIPS) in the Quality Assurance (QA) Department (Code 130), CAQAP Waterfront Quality Assurance Div (Code 131), Non Combatant Branch (Code 131B) of MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CTR.
**Qualifications:**
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying principles, concepts and methodology related to ship repair/shipbuilding quality assurance programs. Experience interpreting the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM) and NAVSEA's policies and direction. Experience investigating, analyzing and effecting corrective action on complex quality problems. Experience applying Navy contract clauses, ship specifications, military specifications, contract drawings, shipbuilding practices and special processes. Experience reading and interpreting contract specifications and engineering drawings, preparing written reports, and making oral presentations.
