Job Description
This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for Managing financial operations for Security Cooperation (SC) programs, such as FMS and FMF. Key duties include financial reporting, compliance analysis, audit response, policy development, and data analysis to ensure policy compliance and evaluate program effectiveness.
**Qualifications:**
You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service: conducting financial reporting, compliance, and analysis for Security Cooperation (SC) programs such as Foreign Military Sales (FMS) or Foreign Military Financing (FMF); preparing complex financial reports for internal and external use and responding to audit findings; developing and implementing financial management policies, procedures, and systems; and analyzing financial data to ensure policy compliance and evaluate program effectiveness. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
