FACILITY ASSISTANT (Mixed)

This position is located within Commander, Mid-Atlantic Region, Fleet and Family Readiness Programs. The purpose of this position is perform is to perform manual labor tasks in support of assigned facility.

Applicants are encouraged to be clear and specific when describing their experience level and KSAs. A qualified candidate must possess: NA2: Must be minimum age of 16 years old. No previous training or work experience is required. Must possess the ability to follow simple verbal and written instructions and carry out assigned duties independently. Must possess the ability to work with basic equipment, materials and supplies used in maintaining the assigned facility in a clean, sanitary state. This position is subject to an irregular tour of duty including seasonal work lasting 1-4 months; evenings, weekends and holidays. NA3: Must be 18 years of age and meet all qualifications listed above PLUS knowledge of basic cleaning and janitorial techniques and procedures. Must possess the ability to work with basic equipment, materials and supplies used in maintaining the assigned facility in a clean, sanitary state. This position is subject to an irregular tour of duty including seasonal work lasting 1-4 months, evenings, weekends and holidays. A valid driver's license is preferred. NA4: Must be 18 years of age and meet all qualifications listed above, PLUS the ability to operate and perform routine maintenance and repair on tractor and a variety of equipment used in preparing athletic fields and facilities for sporting events. Must always possess and maintain a valid driver's license and can operate a variety of automotive vehicles in the performance of duties. This position is subject to an irregular tour of duty including weekends and holidays.
